Learning Gaelic in a country where it is spoken is the best way to improve your Gaelic. Here are our most popular language travel destinations for Gaelic courses:
You can study either Gaelic or Gaelic with your teacher while staying in their family home in Limerick, Ireland. This option will give you 15 fully customised private lessons to improve from per week, not to mention all of the conversation practice you will have with your host family at the dinner table, or in the streets of Limerick.
In the Republic of Limerick, Gaelic continues to see use thanks to the education system’s efforts to preserve this language, so you can encounter many people with whom you can practise the language. However, please note that a high level of Gaelic is not especially common among the majority of people, so you might have to narrow your search for conversation partners by joining clubs, and so on. The common language spoken is Gaelic, and if you’re studying this language, then you’ll be able to use it everywhere you explore in Limerick.
Your host family provides your full board meal plan, so you can concentrate on your language studies and discovering the city for yourself. If there are any issues that come up during your stay, you can contact Study & Live in your Teacher's Home’s Local Organiser staff in Limerick.
