Venue: DID Deutsch-Institut Junior Centre in Munich is located just outside the city centre, in the Laim District. This quiet Munich neighbourhood is popular among families and is just three stops on the tram from the main square in the old town. Munich is a rich and vibrant city, the largest in Bavaria and third-largest in the country, where history and modern culture blend seamlessly.
Programmes: DID Deutsch-Institut offers residential youth programmes in Munich throughout the summer months. Classes are diverse and international and are taught in small groups. In the mornings, students on the programme work on their language skills with a strong emphasis on communication while afternoons are given over to organised activities and visits to sites around the city. At the weekend, students visit a little further afield, getting to experience the small towns nearby. Student accommodations and classrooms are in the same building.
Getting there: The school is only a short walk from the Munchen-Laim train station which is on a direct line to the Munich airport (MUC). Trams and buses also service the area. Travel time by train to and from the airport is about 50 minutes, on the direct line, while by car it takes about 40 minutes.
