Home Language International: HLI places students in Lincolnshire in the homes of qualified teachers, where they live, learn, socialise and interact. Each programme is fully immersive, giving students valuable one-to-one tuition and "real life" interactions and exchanges in English. HLI has many hundreds of teachers around the world, ensuring students receive tutors best suited to their individual needs and development. English lessons are generally on a one-to-one basis from within the teacher's home. Activities, excursions and social events, such as mealtimes with the host family, are all part of the fully immersive learning experience that HLI offers.
Course selection: HLI (Home Language International) England UK provides fully immersive language courses suitable to students of all levels, necessities and ages. Programmes include a set amount of English lessons per week, course material specific to a student's level and needs, full-board accommodation within the teacher's home and activities and excursions, according to the course type selected. Programmes are suitable and available to children, teenagers, adults and professionals. Available course types may vary depending on the location, but generally include English for Business, sports orientated study holidays, Exam Preparation, Specific Learning programmes tailor-made to a student's needs, Teacher Refresher courses, Senior programmes and much more. Accommodation, activities and lessons are also all available individually.
Methodology: HLI programmes allow students to immerse themselves entirely in English for the whole duration of their learning programme. Students' practise their English during their lessons, free time, daily routines, and social activities such as mealtimes in the teacher's home. This one to one attention allows students the best opportunity to learn English at the pace best suited to their needs and goals.
Tutors: All teachers are highly qualified and experienced. Students are matched with tutors according to their needs, course type, expectations and requested location.
Facilities: All host families (teachers) provide students with full-board accommodation with a private bedroom, study area and free WIFI.
Accreditations: HLI (Home Language International) is accredited by the Accreditation Service for International Schools, Colleges and Universities (ASIC).

Study & Live in your Teacher's Home’s popular home tuition programme is available in the scenic county of Lincolnshire, where you will be able to live with your teacher in their home, and usually with their family as well. Your classes will be on a one-to-one basis, and you get the chance to determine what topics your lessons will be focused on. If you have an exam or a job opportunity coming up in the near future, then you can take advantage and focus on the elements of your English language skills that you need to work on most.
Lincolnshire achieves a perfect blend between the modern and historic, and you’ll find an active student scene in the orbit of the local university campus - there you’ll find a variety of bars, restaurants, and plenty of students to meet whom you can chat with to make connections and practise your English. Conversely, when you step foot in the steep hill area you’ll feel like you’re in the middle of a historic city. You even have access to coastal areas with beaches, for those who reserve in the summer months.

The sports sessions can be individual or in a group, depending on the level and location, and take place with a professional instructor or a member of your host family, when appropriate. Standard arrival and departure on SUNDAYS.
Two students with the same language level, sharing the lessons and generally also a room: up to 20% discount, depending on the type of course and the duration of the stay.
If you do not arrive at the airport indicated on your family profile or if you arrive/leave the host family before 8:00 or after 20:00 charges will be increased. A supplement may be charged for late arrival and UM services (unaccompanied minors) if there is a lot of waiting time.
SUPPLEMENTS:- Any booking which includes Dec 24th, 25th or 26th (Christmas) or Dec 31st or Jan 1st (New Year): GBP 145. If the stay includes both Christmas and New Year, the supplement is charged twice.
- Close supervision (the teacher or an adult member of the family is at home at all times when the student is there): GBP 150 per week. Compulsory for students aged 13 or under, optional for students under 18.
- VIP programme (especially designed for people who would like a superior standard of meals and accommodation and a private bathroom): GBP 400 per week.
- The organisation welcomes students with physical disabilities (such as vision or hearing impairments), emotional or behavioural disorders (such as ADHD) or learning difficulties (such as dyslexia), provided the organiser is notified in advance. A supplement of GBP 150 per week may be applied.
- Airport transfer on Easter Sunday and Easter Monday: GBP 20 extra.
Students must insure themselves against illness and accidents to themselves and third parties.
Students aged 15 and under must book 2-way airport transfers unless they are accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
