What we like about the school

- The leisure program is a combination of sports, workshops, outdoor activities and small excursions.

What we dislike about the school
- Older students should consider that the average age of students at the school is significantly younger than at most other schools.
- Cancellation fees if visa is rejected.
Venue: The DID Deutsch-Intitut Summer Camp in Oberwesel, Germany, is located at the foot of the Schönburg Castle, just above the town of Oberwesel. The green valley along the Rhine River is nestled among slate mountains and has an abundance of such medieval castles and fortresses. The area is renowned for its beauty and Oberwesel is the largest and best preserved fortified city in the Middle Rhine region.
Residential Summer Camp: The programme run by DID Deutsch-Institut in Oberwesel takes place on a self-contained campus: German classes, accommodation, activities and meals are all held in the same building complex. On weekdays, after their morning classes students participate in organised activities and nearby excursions. At the weekend they travel to nearby cities such as Cologne or Trier for a full day visit.
Getting there: The closest airports to Oberwesel are in Frankfurt. The larger Frankfurt am Main airport (FRA) is 90 km away, while Frankfurt Hahn Airport (HNH) is only half that distance away from the DID Deutsch Institut Summer Camp. However, unless you are planning to travel by car or taxi, Frankfurt am Main airport has far better connections for public transport to Oberwesel.
