Location: Turkish Language Center Izmir is located in the historical and culturally rich city of Izmir, Turkey. With several sites included in the UNESCO World Heritage List, Izmir offers students a unique place to study. The school is housed within the Karsiyaka district, has easy access to surrounding shops, restaurants and supermarkets, and is only a short ferry ride from tourist destinations such as Alsancak and Konak. Attractions such as the Asansor Tower, the Hisar Mosque, the Smyrna Agora Ancient City and Küçük Park are all within an hour's journey of the school. The Izmir Port is around an 80-minute journey from the school via public transport and the Izmir Adnan Menderes International Airport (ADB) is around a 70-minute away.
School facilities: The school facilities offer students a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. These facilities include a library, kitchen use for students, free WIFI, free parking and a student support desk for any questions or queries that arise. All classrooms are equipped with air conditioning, heating, and ample natural light to create an optimal learning environment.
Course selection: In addition to General Turkish courses, Turkish Language Center Izmir also provides private lessons in the school or at a Teacher's Home, which are available in conjunction with another programme or independently.
Accommodation: The school offers several options for accommodation in local hotels or Studio rentals.

“The teachers are well trained and were able to teach me the content very well. They are helpful in every way, we were even picked up at home on the first day of school and taken to school. Before the start of school in Izmir, we were given a pre-test for placement in the classes. The lessons were very varied. The learning materials (books and worksheets) were well organised. The teachers speak Turkish and English. The tasks were challenging and manageable. There were always tips and advice on activities in Izmir, restaurants, special places and specialities. I am very satisfied with my personal learning outcome.”

“It was a really great organisation. I never felt alone. The group fitted together very well. It was good togetherness. We were motivated to speak, which is not always the case with language courses. The host family was a very good choice. I particularly liked the fact that I had to speak Turkish with the family. You get more out of it than if you switch to English or even German. All in all, I was more than satisfied and would recommend this school to anyone.”

The accommodation is always in apartments with the apartment owner who also lives there himself. So similar to a WG! Is really great if you have a newer building, but set too high by the price.
