Location: Bede's Summer School Hailsman is a summer school for junior students located in the town of Upper Dicker, East Sussex, England. Housed in the heart of the Sussex countryside, just north of Eastbourne and the historic town of Lewes, the school is on large grounds and offers everything a junior student may need to have a comfortable, memorable and productive time at Bede's Summer school Hailsham.
School facilities: The school facilities are exemplary in terms of on-campus junior camps with everything under one roof. The school has fantastic academic, leisure and sporting facilities including expansive grounds, sports fields, an indoor swimming pool, a gym, tennis courts, a dance studio, a squash course, a computer lab, free WIFI and much more.
The facilities are designed to reflect the feeling of a rural community
Accommodation: The accommodation is shared between 5 on-site boarding houses, some with shared bathrooms and others with en-suite facilities.
Social and cultural: Each course is ripe with daily evening activities and multiple weekly trips and excursions.
Examples of evening activities include Messy Games, fashion shows, karaoke, discos, talent shows, mini-Olympics, and more.
Excursions may include trips to Arundel Castle, Brighton i360, Thorpe Park, Brighton Sealife, the London Dungeons, Madame Tussauds, Canterbury, Leeds and much more.
The Dicker school also has a number of "Academies" which can be added to programmes. These "Academies" include more specific activities such as Clay Pigeon Shooting, Contemporary Dance, Drawing & Painting, Golf, Public Speaking, Rugy and much more.
