Location: Global Village Calgary is an English language school in the Canadian city of Calgary, in the province of Alberta. The school is found in the downtown neighbourhood, known as the city’s commercial hub. The Calgary Towers and Glenbow Museum are popular attractions within this district.

Getting around: The school is located in a well connected travel hub of the city. The neighbourhood is very central, so there are plenty of bars and restaurants as well as after class activities reachable by foot from the school. A central tram station is 300m from the entrance of the school. The station has two lines running through it that connect to various pivotal locations throughout the city, including the Calgary Zoo.

Courses: Group English lessons for the general use of the language are available at Global Village. These are available as full time or part time classes. The school offers elective courses that can be combined with general English classes. Possible electives include IELTS, CELPIP or English for Academic Purpose. There are packages of private lessons in different durations so that students can select the one that fits their schedule. Students can choose individual classes for general English or for exam preparation courses.

Junior programmes: There are a selection of young learner programmes at the school during the summer months. Students can join a full programme with courses, accommodation and activities or a package without accommodation.
