Location: L'Italiano con Noi boasts a central location in the heart of the ancient city of Verona, a few steps from Piazza delle Erbe, the former Roman Forum. Surrounded by coffee shops and local restaurants, the school is in the pedestrian heart of Verona’s thriving shopping district. Many historical monuments and famous attractions are just around the corner.
Getting around: The city of Verona is perfect for those that like to walk around small ancient cities. Verona Porta Nuova is the main train station of the city, and a 25-minute walk from the school. There are regular services from here to nearby larger cities, including Venice and Milan for weekend excursions.
Course structure: L'Italiano con Noi has a standard Italian course, which consists of 20 lessons per week. This can also be integrated with 6 private classes for a combination course. The school produces a lot of their own material in order to adapt the classes to their method of teaching.
Methodology: The school teaches students how to communicate in Italian. The use of grammar is slowly introduced in the classroom, as vocabulary is the emphasis of each lesson. There are weekly task-based lessons where students use the Italian language they have learned in real life scenarios.
