Location: The school is located in the centre of the city, close to Changqing Park. LTL Mandarin School is in the Haicheng District of Beihai, which is the main part of the city. It is a built up area with lots of shops, restaurants and bars around the neighbourhood.

Getting around: The centre of the city is just under 2km from the school and about 25 minutes by foot.

Local attractions: Beibuwan Square is in the centre of the city. It is an 18-minute walk from LTL Mandarin school. In one corner of Beihai is the Guantouling National Forest Park, 9km from the school. This journey would take around 30 minutes by car. Silver Beach Park is in the south of the city, 12.5km from where the school is situated. There are a number of islands off the southern coast of the city, which are accessible by ferry. The ferry port for these trips is at Beihai International Passenger Port, 7.5 km south from LTL Mandarin School

I would like to book a course for one-year in Beihai. Can I get an X1 visa?
“For a X1 visa the student would need a JW202 form. JW202 forms are not issued by private language schools. Like all language schools, we only issue X2 student visa invitations. X2 visa can be issued for a maximum of 180 days (around 6 months). This means that halfway through the program we would need to schedule a 2-week break so the student could go abroad and apply for a new X2 visa.
