Location: Spanish World Institute Bogota is located in the outstanding capital city of Colombia, Bogota, the third-highest city in South America. Housed in the trendy Chapinero Alto neighbourhood, a beautiful residential part of the city. The school is close to several tourist, cultural and business areas and well connected by public transport. There are also many eateries, restaurants, supermarkets and shops within walking distance of the school's front doors.

Social and cultural: Bogata has much to offer students and is home to various interesting sites and attractions. The most popular of these sites include the Jardín Botánico de Bogotá José Celestino Mutis, Botero Museum, Plaza de Bolivar, the Museo Nacional de Colombia, Maloka Museo Interactivo and the Salitre Mágico & Parque Mundo Aventura adventure parks.

Course selection: Spanish World Institute Bogota supplies Spanish courses suitable for students of all levels and various necessities. In addition to General Spanish taught over several schedules and intensities, the school also supplies combination programmes of Spanish and an additional activity, Exam Preparation (DELE) and private tuition. The combination courses can include volunteering, Medical Spanish, Colombian Culture, Tourism, Activities and Salsa. The school also supplies Business Spanish.

Accommodation: The school can provide accommodation in homestay facilities with local families and a guest house, which is within a 15-minute walk of the school's front doors.

“There are some important practices you need to become familiar with on a daily basis to gain the most from your Spanish studies.

Speaking: Use the language as often as possible. This could be in a shop, restaurant, asking for directions. It could be in class, with a home stay family, at a hotel. Anywhere and everywhere is the key.
Listening: Research the way people pronounce and use the language naturally. You will notice accents and pronunciation, sentence structure; you will build your vocabulary.
Reading: Try to read newspapers articles, some short stories in Spanish, children stories etc.
Writing: Make short essays of 200 in different topics, cultural activities and other interesting issues that you may like.”
