Location: Swiss Boarding Schools Disentis & Zurich Winterthur is located between two campuses, one in the mountains of Disentis, and the other in Zurich, both in Switzerland. This impressive arrangement ensures that summer and winter programmes can be given the best in education and activities for junior students to thrive in the school's international atmosphere.
Course selection: These programmes are available to junior students during the summer and winter school breaks. Programmes are arranged for learning German or English and include tuition, activities, accommodation (residence, full-board), sports and lots of fun!
The groups are international students aged 13-17.
Each programme contains 24/7 supervision of all meals.
These 2-weeks camps offer a rare blend of mountains meets city from two independent campuses offering junior students a rare look into the beauty and culture that Switzerland has to offer, whilst getting to expand their knowledge of the German and/or English language with a like-minded group of peers.
Getting around: Airport transfers to and from local airports on arrival and departure are included in the course prices.
School facilities: The school facilities vary between the mountain and city campuses.
Social and cultural: The winter programmes from the mountainous Dessentis campus include skiing, snowboarding, sledging or cross-country skiing for the afternoon.
Activities and interesting happenings from the city campus include visits to Switzerland's largest science museum, Technorama, or museums such as the Fotomuseum, Kunsthaus, playing sports in the school's state-of-the-art indoor sports facilities and much more.
Movie nights, board game nights and playing cards are also popular nighttime activities.

During the summer and winter holidays, the school offers holiday camps to 13 to 16-year-olds from all over the world. The summer camps last 14 days, winter camps 10 days
In the holiday camps, it combines learning German or English with sport, fun and entertainment. Participants have a daily structure, that gives them enough freedom to pursue their interests and spend time with like-minded peers.
