Location: Village Camps Leysin is a junior summer cap situated high in the Alpine village of Leysin, Switzerland. The school is housed within the Village Camps-owned Swiss Alpine Centre, a space with south-facing terraces and panoramic views over the distant French Alps. This sunny alpine resort is around a 90-minute car journey or a 150-minute journey via public transport from Geneva International Airport (GVA).
Course selection: There are several summer camps available to students aged 13-17 during the summer months.
The language programmes are available in French and English. These programmes are all-inclusive of tuition, accommodation, meals, activities and excursions.
Activities within these camps can include international nights, ice skating, movie nights, campfires and many more.
Excursions included in these programmes can include trips to the Nestle Museum in Vevey, the Labyrinth Adventure Park, the United Nations building and Geneva Old Town, the Olympic Museum, the Maison Cailler - chocolate factory and more.
Accommodation: The accommodation is within the Village Campus Swiss Alpine Centre facilities, offering comfortable accommodation and a friendly place to eat and interact for all counsellors and campers.
School facilities: The school facilities include a snack bar, a gift shop, a music & dance studio, three dining rooms, an arts & crafts centre, a climbing wall, an auditorium and more. There are also several sports facilities in the village of Leysin.
