Information about Chisinau
Why Chisinau? Chisnau is the capital and largest city of the Republic of Moldova. Boasting more than 20 lakes, countless parks and varied wildlife, Chisinau has a high proportion of natural space compared to any other city in Europe. This green capital is situated on the River Bic and is surrounded by fertile land which is rife with vineyards. The city is also renowned for its cognac and beer. Almost all of Chisnau was destroyed in World War II and a tragic earthquake that struck in 1940. The Soviets rebuilt it into what you see today, so you like Socialist-Realist architecture then there’re many gems you're sure to enjoy.
