- Average age of students is a bit higher than at most schools. Great for students 25 years or older.

Location: The Chisinau Language School is in a good location within Chisinau. It is opposite the Cathedral of Christ's Nativity, and close to Stephen the Great Central Park. There are lots of shops, hotels, commercial restaurants, cafes and bars close to the school building.
Getting around: There are a variety of bus routes to choose from, close to Chisinau Language School. The central Chisinau Train Station is 17 minutes by bus from the school. There are local services running from this station along with lines running to cities in surrounding countries such as Bucharest.
Things to see in Chisinau: The majority of the attractions within Chisinau are in the centre, close to the school. The Valia Moriloras lake, park and gardens are 30 minutes by foot from the school, whilst the Dendrarium Park is a little further, but still just 18 minutes by public transportation. There are also some popular museums in the area such as the National History Museum of Moldova.
Course structure: Due to its history, the majority of the people in the city speak Russian. The school offers private Russian lessons in packages or as individual classes.
Excursions and tours: Chisinau Language School organises trips for students to explore the surrounding area as well as to cities in nearby countries. The possible options available include Old Orhei, Soroka Fort, Bucharest in Romania and even a Dracula Tour in Transylvania, Romania.

What is the proportion of Russian speakers in Chisinau?
“The majority of people in Chisinau speak both Romanian and Russian (especially those who are over 25-30 years old), in all the shops, restaurants etc. Russian can be used.
For every day communications between themselves around 70% Moldavians use Romanian and 30% - Russian, but it’s not a problem to switch to Russian if the one doesn’t speak Romanian.”

Individual lessons are usually scheduled in the morning and if you are interested in a course of 10 lessons per week, these can be taught on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays (it can also be a course of 12 lessons per week / 4 lessons per study day). The minimum duration of each lesson is 2 lessons of 45 minutes (90 min), so the minimum number of lessons per week is 6.”
