The full-time English course from ACCESS International English Language Centre is led by teachers who are committed to getting their students to a level where they can competently communicate in the English language. The school’s methodology places emphasis on conversation and listening comprehension skills, but you will also develop foundational skills such as grammar accuracy, writing, and even idioms and slang in order to learn how people speak English in real-life situations.

Full-Time General course (20 lessons) and 5 extra pronunciation lessons per week.

If you’ve ever wanted to study English in Canada, then HLI’s homestay programme could be what you’re looking for. You will take 20 hours of carefully designed one-to-one lessons with your teacher in their home, which could be based on any topic that you are interested in. Three meals will be provided by your host family every day, which is often an excellent opportunity to sit down and chat, and learn about the Canadian culture in Toronto.

Toronto is known for its icy winters, so be sure to pack a suitcase full of your warmest attire if you plan to stay here outside of the Summer months. The Bildungsurlaub course offers employees the opportunity to use Germany’s educational leave program to develop language proficiency and cultural knowledge in a unique, immersive environment. The course typically runs for 5 to 10 days, combining intensive language lessons with cultural activities.

This intensive program focuses on practical language use, with classes tailored to various levels, from beginner to advanced. Participants will engage in interactive lessons, cultural excursions, and real-life scenarios to practice language skills in meaningful contexts.

The General English programme from Hansa Language Centre has its students work on all the aspects of English study that you would expect from a course with a general approach: grammar, pronunciation, reading, writing, listening, and plenty of conversation practice. The school takes pride in being able to offer small class sizes, which has the benefit of promoting better communication between teachers and all students.

These classes take place at the Yonge Street campus, on a weekly commitment of 20 hours per week. All participants are assigned to a group that most closely represents their current English level, but can later be changed depending on your progress and other factors. New students can start on practically any Monday of the year, so you’ll be able to jump in whenever you want.

The Premium Package gives you the option to study in any Canadian city and choose between the English or Professional Course.

Electives are only available from the second week.

This course consists of 20 general English lessons and 4 special focus lessons per week. The student can choose from the following options: speaking with confidence, real-life listening, expand your vocabulary, and global awareness.

This Semi-Intensive English course consists of the General English course combined with 5.25 hours of online teacher led study sessions totalling 27 lessons per week. The content focuses on reading, writing, listening, conversation, grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation through an integrated skills approach. This includes access to K+ Online complementary learning materials as well as access to teacher-led study sessions with guidance and monitoring and access to K+ Online Extra additional learning materials for self-directed study.

Upgrade/Add-on:

• Guaranteed morning classes (max 12 weeks): CAD 20 per week.

This course prepares you for tertiary study and builds your confidence and knowledge to complete assignments. This course delivers lessons covering reading, writing, listening conversation, grammar and vocabulary plus an extra 5+ hours of K+ learning material which encompasses digital, text-based and interpersonal teaching methods.
