Location: Bede's Summer School Windlesham is a summer school for junior students located in the town of Windlesham, West Sussex, England. The school is housed on a spacious campus of many acres, ensuring students have all they need for recreational and educational practice in one place.
Windlesham is in the Sussex Downs countryside of West Sussex, between the villages of Washington and Findes, to the north of Worthing. The school is around a two-hour journey via taxi or a 150-minute journey via public transport from London.
Accommodation: The accommodation is on campus and is gender-separated. Rooms are typically for 4-10 beds. Students are paired with others close to their age. English is the primary language throughout the accommodation and the school campus. Washrooms and toilets are communal on each floor. Every House has a common room where students may socialise and enjoy their free time with their peers.
Social and cultural: The programmes are ripe with daily activities and several excursions per week.
Activities can include survival skills, cooking, drama, tennis, handball, swimming, karaoke, fashion shows, mini Olympics and much more.
Excursions may include trips to the likes of Brighton, London, Windsor and more.
School facilities: The school facilities include an astroturf pitch, playing fields, a drama theatre, an indoor swimming pool, tennis courts, WIFI and extensive woodland and forest land.
