The school is housed within one of the most prestigious independent boarding schools in the UK, Wellington College. The school campus is expansive, with great large halls and grand buildings across 400 acres of land. With over 150 years of experience within the educational sector, the site and its facilities offer unique, original architecture with state-of-the-art facilities. The school is within a 90-minute train journey from London.
School facilities: As mentioned, the facilities of Wellington College are extensive. In addition to the school's grounds and buildings, Embassy Junior Centre Crowthorne offers a multi-purpose sports hall, astro turf sports pitches, a large conference room, and many outdoor spaces available for recreational activities.
Course selection: Course selection with Embassy Junior Centre (EC) Crowthorne is for fully immersive summer experiences. All programmes include 20 weekly lessons, afternoon and evening activities, half-day and full-day excursions, meals and accommodation. Trinity exam preparation is also available.
Full-day trips can include Bath, Oxford, Brighton, and London. Half-day excursions may take students to explore the many sites and places of interest in Newbury, Reading, and many nearby attractions and sites of cultural interest.
Accommodation: Accommodation is available onsite in a traditional British boarding house. Bedrooms are subject to availability in single or shared rooms. Bathrooms are shared with up to 5 students. Laundry services are available onsite. The linen is changed weekly. Students must bring their own towels.
