Venue: The DID Deutsch-Institut Summer Camp in Vienna is located in a residential street near the Vienna Central Train Station, Wien Hauptbahnhof. Vienna is a beautiful city, with many wonderful sights and attractions to visit. The school is just a 15-minute walk away from the Baroque era Upper Belvedere Palace, now home to a fine art museum. The Inner City, where you will find St. Stephen’s Cathedral, the State Opera House, and Hofburg, can be reached in about 15 minutes by subway. The school residence is really well connected to most parts of the city and as such is a great point of departure for visits in and around the city.
Programmes: Students at DID Deutsch-Institut’s Summer Camp in Vienna live, eat and study in the same building. Morning classes are followed by organised activities and/or excursions around the city during the week. Weekend excursions can include day trips to nearby cities and towns such as Baden or Eisenstadt, or a boat cruise along the Danube River.
Getting around: With the main train station less than five minutes away on foot, travel to and from the programme is easy. The Vienna International Airport (VIE) is on a direct line to the Wien Hauptbahnhof and travel time is 24 minutes.
