This school promotes volunteering and internships in sustainable projects with the goal of improving Peruvian educational and social systems in a meaningful, sustainable and responsible way.
Location: Proyecto Peru Centre S.A.C. Cusco is a volunteer and language centre based in the historic city of Cuzco, Peru. The school is housed on the outskirts of the historic city centre, in a city which was once the Incans' centre of the universe. Within a 20-minute walk of the school's front doors are several attractions and sites of social and cultural interest, including the Plaza Mayor de Cuzco, the Catedral del Cuzco, the Mirador de Plaza San Cristobal, the 12-angled stone, the historic site of Saqsaywaman and many more.
Course selection: All courses from Proyecto Peru Centre S.A.C. Cusco are given by Spanish-speaking Peruvian teachers with many years of experience. These Spanish courses are available in groups over various intensities, with something suitable for students of all levels. Medical Spanish may also be available upon request, as are lessons in the Local Quechua.
Getting around: The school is within walking distance of many sites, attractions, eateries, tour companies and links to public transport. The Cruz Del Sur Cusco - Terminal Santiago is around a 12-minute taxi from the school, as is the central bus terminal for Cusco.
