Location: Centre of English Studies (CES) - Summer Centre Oxford is a junior summer school located in the famous and student-friendly city of Oxford, England. Housed in the modern facilities of Ruskin College in the leafy residential suburb of Headington. Just 10 minutes by bus from the centre of Oxford, The school campus has everything students may need to have a comfortable and memorable time whilst at CES Summer Centre Oxford.
Social and cultural: Activities within the programme can include treasure hunts, Orientation tours, museum visits, ice skating, movie nights and much more. Afternoon and evening activities may also include group debates, supervised sports activities, role plays, project and group work, games, and more.
Excursions within the programmes can include trips to Oxford Castle, Christchurch College, Bodleian Library and full-day excursions to Warwick Castle and Statford-Upon-Avon.
School facilities: The school facilities include a campus with modern facilities, an onsite canteen, extensive grounds, a BBQ & picnic area and access to nearby facilities for recreational sports such as tennis, football, basketball and more.
Accommodation: Homestay or residential facilities are available for these camps, each coming with three meals per day (breakfast, lunch, dinner). Homestay accommodation is generally 10-30 minutes from the school via public transport. Rooms in the residence are generally double or single rooms with shared bathroom facilities.
