Location International Language School is situated to the south of Basel, in the residential district of Gundeldingen. The area around the school is known for its multicultural restaurants and array of shops. The school is close to the Gundeldinger Feld, a converted factory with restaurants, bars and cultural events, as well as the Meret Oppenheim Hochhaus, a striking office block.
Getting around: There are a number of transportation links close to the school. To get to the centre of Basel, students can take a bus or a tram a five-minute walk away from the school, and be in the city in under ten minutes. For those who prefer to walk, the city centre is 27 minutes by foot from the school. The main train station, Basel SBB, is a two-minute walk from the school for students who want to explore the surrounding area. For travelling throughout the city, there are a number of tram and bus stops on the same street as the International Language School.
Course structure: International Language school offers classes in a number of different languages including German, English and French to name a few. These courses are available in a group setting or as private lessons.

In the school's intensive language courses, a student will quickly learn the basic structures and vocabulary of the chosen language through everyday conversation and listening exercises, role-playing, grammar and many other activities.
