What our students said about Bogota
My own fault but I did not realize it was rainy season, so there wasn't as much walking around as I'd hoped (although I did manage 6 km one day alone!). I felt pretty safe walking around, people were nice. I didn't tackle the bus system. If I could walk I did, otherwise I would grab an occasional uber, which made life easy. I wish I had more time to spend in museums, neighbourhoods, outside of the city. I guess this just means I have to come back. :)
I had not issues from safety side, it always felt safe, during the day you can walk alone, during the night I used always Uber. To consider: Bogota has cold climate (around 15 degrees) due to its altitude, other destinations like Medellin and Cartagena are warmer.
Wonderful location amidst the Andes with a tropical climate. The abundance of flora, fauna, fruits along with their rich cultural heritage made every day an adventure. Left me wanting to stay longer!
It's an interesting city because of its very welcoming and cheerful people. Life is cheap but of little historical interest to me
It is impressive. Huge. The air pollution is very high. The traffic is gigantic. I felt safer from day to day.
It was not my favorite place to visit because it is just too big for me.
A super safe city with above-average friendly and helpful people
I have to go back so many places to see.
Was happy to visit but will not return.
Interesting city for learning Spanish.

Matheo was a great teacher, funny and explaining very well. Good additional activities offered (cooking class, dancing class, excursion to Guatavita, visit to botanic garden, etc.).

The dedication of the director, professors, cook, cleaning lady to make Nueva Lengua a safe, clean, friendly environment to foster learning, growth and understanding among people of diverse backgrounds.
Just an enterprise that takes pride in what they do. I felt motivated every day of the week. Highly recommend Nueva Lengua whether you’re 16 or 60 years old!

No idea. In the end I only had 3 days of lessons. Because of a holiday the lessons were crammed into 4 days which means 5 hours of lessons in a row. I couldn't handle that. That's way too much and other students complained about that.
