Location: Alpadia Summer Camp Torquay is a junior summer centre located in the popular seaside destination of Torquay, in Devon, southwest England. The school is housed centrally in a large residential home with a garden, an outdoor terrace and social area, views to the sea and more. Within walking distance of the school students have many amenities,
Course selection: These immersive Junior courses are availble to students aged 12-17 years of age during the summer months. Courses are inclusive of tuition, accommodation, meal, activities and excursions.
School facilities: Alpadia Summer Camp Torquay is set on extensive grounds with playing fields, an outdoor swimming pool, an on-site cafe and a gazebo with great views out to the sea.
Accommodation: Accommodation on these programmes is full-board with local homestay families in twin bedrooms with a shared bathroom. All accommodation come with supervision. Internet connections via WIFI are availble to students 24/7.
Social and cultural: All programmes are packed with a variety of activities and excursions, ensuring that all junior students get ample opportunity to practise their English via social engagement. Activities can include beach games, bowling, dodgeball, football, hiking, kayaking, swimming, table tennis and much more. Excursions can include shopping and sightseeing in Torquay, boat trips to Brixham, Splashdown Waterslide Park in Paignton, Prehistoric Kents Caverns and more.
