Location: Nosara Spanish Institute is located in the peaceful and natural coastal city of Nosara, Costa Rica. Housed just an 8-minute walk from the paradise-like beaches of Playa Guiones, the school is surrounded by eateries, yoga centres and supermarkets selling the finest in organic products. Nosara has for some time been hailed as one of the world's prime locations for yoga, yoga retreats and surfing. A quiet community with many ex-pats, retirees and young families, Nosara provides a unique and relaxed location, where students' may further their understanding of the Spanish language, whilst enjoying the beautiful waters and coastline activities available to the area.
Course selection: Spanish courses are taught in groups or privately, run all year round, with combination courses available including surf and yoga. A long-term community programme is also available, designed specifically for residents or long-stay visitors to the area.
School facilities: The school's facilities consist of a lounge area, a garden, free coffee and free WIFI. All classrooms are equipped with televisions, air conditioning and ample natural light to create an optimal learning environment.
Additional information: As mentioned, the area thrives on activities such as surfing, yoga and others, involving the local surrounding and marine life. Nosara Spanish Institute is happy to assist students in arranging many activities, including beach and mountain horseback riding, fishing, hiking, stand up paddleboarding and stand up paddle surfing, cooking classes, dance classes, music classes and more! Students are sure to have a fulfilling time whilst studying in Nosara.

“The class was not organized and was off track most days. Seemed to go off topic a lot. Also paid for 40 hours of Spanish and probably got about 30 hours because the class had a break at 9:40 till about 10:30 and then ended at 11:40 so that minus off a lot of time. So I don’t think it’s fair to advertise 20 hours a week.”
