Location: Severnvale Academy Junior Academy is situated in the English market town of Shrewsbury, in the county of Shropshire, western England. The school is housed in the heart of the town, on extensive grounds in Shrewsbury School. Shrewsbury is a small English town with several commercial stores, cafes and restaurants.
Course structure: There are several junior course options for this package. The Starline Course is 20 lessons of English per week for students between 13 to 16 years of age. The Express Course has 28 lessons per week for those 15 to 17 years old. Lessons take place on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
Accommodation: The school offers a range of onsite residential accommodations. Residential accommodation can include single, twin and multiple-bed facilities, all of which have access to onsite social spaces where students may enjoy televisions, games, and more with their peers.
The residential accommodations have several communal areas suitable for students to play board games, watch television and interact with their peers.
There is also a 24-hour helpline if students need to speak to a member of staff outside school hours.
Activities: There are full-day excursions on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Afternoon activities take place Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday for those students taking the Starline course, and Tuesday and Friday for those who take 28 lessons per week. Evening activities take place on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
