- Older students should consider that the average age of students at the school is significantly younger than at most other schools.

Special Offers
Venue: Actilingua summer camp is just south of the centre of Vienna. It is in the neighbourhood of Wieden, a student hub thanks to the University of Technology which is also found here. The area is also home to a number of bookstores, shops, cafes and eateries all with a unique urban feel.
School facilities: The summer camp takes place in a very prestigious private school, founded by Empress Maria Theresia. Right in the heart of the school is a park, which is excellent for sports facilities and there is a football pitch, tennis courts as well as a volleyball court. There are common rooms and a dining space.
Curriculum: These small group classes are held as either 30 or 20 German lessons per week. The focus is on using German in real life situations so practising grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and auditory comprehension takes place through communicative language games and working in groups and pairs.
Accommodation: Students will stay in the school residence in shared dorms of either four-six (standard) or three-four (superior) students. The bathroom facilities are shared. It is a full board option with food being served at the school for breakfast, lunch and dinner in a buffet style.
Activities: There is a full activity schedule in this programme. Sports, creative tasks and other activities such as city walks, disco evenings, karaoke and films are all part of the after class entertainment.

“The kids were great, it was fun to spend the afternoons with them/exploring the city. The teachers presented the German language in a very interesting way, much more interesting than at home. I improved a lot.”
“It's not the school's fault, but the others spoke more English to each other than German. It would have been better if they had spoken in German, but it didn't bother me later... (I didn't learn English before, now I can understand when they speak to me... maybe I'll answer in German).”

“We ask parents to sign a consent form to allow their children to leave campus unaccompanied by an ActiLingua supervisor, and we offer different curfews: afternoons until 5:45 pm, evenings until 9:00 pm, and for students 15+, evenings until 10:00 pm. Students must be present daily for dinner at 5:45 pm, as well as for lunch on Saturdays and Sundays at 1:00 pm.
