What our students said about Sainte-Anne
I love Sainte-Anne! It's a very nice area. If you get housing near the school, there are many places you can walk to, like grocery stores, markets, beaches, the town area and food trucks. Renting a car is recommended if you want to explore the island, but in the Sainte-Anne area, you can function without one.
I liked the town, there is everything you need. The ice cream parlour is great, the supermarkets are adequate and the locals are very friendly. However, I wouldn't recommend walking alone in the dark, because as a tourist you stand out a lot and that's not always positive.
Sainte-Anne is super friendly and has great beaches. A cute little town. Perfect for learning and relaxing.
Ideally suited for reflecting and water sports, rather not for hiking
Very touristy. Dead quiet in the evenings.
