Location: Concorde International is situated in the beautifully striking and historic city of Canterbury in the southeast of England. An independent, family-owned school with a difference, Concorde International is housed close to the Great Stour River and within walking distance of such UNESCO World Heritage sites as the Canterbury Cathedral, St Martin's Church and St Augustine's Abbey. The high street shopping of Whitefriars Shopping mall, many restaurants, cafés and supermarkets, are all close by, ensuring students have all they need to have a fantastic time in Canterbury, whilst reaching their language goals.
Ethos of school: With over 45 years of experience in supplying English language programmes to the highest standards, Concorde International pay keen attention to each student, ensuring both their language goals and learning experiences are met, with expectations exceeded.
Course selection: Course selection with the school is extensive, offering tuition to students of all levels, all year round. Programmes are available for Adults, Juniors and Families, with several courses incorporating local culture and activities. Exam preparation programmes are available for several exams (FCE, CAE, IELTS, TOEFL, BEC), over various schedules, with Teacher Development, Business English and University Pathway programmes, also popular.
School facilities: Concorde International has excellent facilities, including everything a student may need to feel welcomed and integrated into a friendly and open learning environment. These facilities include a cafeteria, library, lounge area, movie room, free after-class access to language learning software, and a student support desk for any questions or queries that may arise. All classrooms are equipped with heating and have ample natural light to create an optimal learning environment.

I'm interested in the Junior: Ashford School - Residential (8 to 17 years old) programme offered by the Concorde International school. What are the arrival and departure days?
“Arrival is on Sunday and departure is on Sunday as well. Lessons will be scheduled from Monday to Friday. ”

Do you offer Junior Programs in Spring and Summer?
“We have junior programmes running from the end of May to the end of August. This could be extended if there are enough interested students.
We also do year-round High School Integration programmes for juniors who want an authentic experience in an English secondary school and be placed with an English study buddy. We have already placed over 20 students this year alone until the end of February!
Also, our Home Tuition programme can offer English with a teacher in their homes.”

Visa Documents
Nationals from USA do not require a visa to study short term courses up to 180 days. A valid passport and an ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization) is required to enter the UK. The application for the ETA is done online https://www.gov.uk/guidance/apply-for-an-electronic-travel-authorisation-eta. The answer is expected within 3 working days, costing GBP 20. The ETA allows multiple entries in the country for up to 6 months for a maximum of 2 years or until the passport used when applying expires.
