Location: Oxford Spires Junior Centre - Wycliffe College Gloucester is a junior summer camp located in the beautiful countryside of South West England, in Stonehouse, Gloucestershire. The school is housed within Wycliffe College, a private school founded in 1882, set on 52 acres of land. The town of Stonehouse offers picturesque walks and the experience of a quaint English town. The nearby town of Stroud, around 10 minutes away via bus, has museums, supermarkets, farmer's markets and more.
Course selection: During the summer months Oxford Spires Junior Centre - Wycliffe College provides immersive junior camp programmes and day programmes.
The immersive camps include tuition, accommodation (residential, full board), activities, excursions and 24/7 supervision.
Social and cultural: These programmes are filled with social opportunities for students to get to know their peers whilst practising English.
Afternoon and evening activities are included in the social programmes of all immersive courses. These activities can include sports, music, dance drama, and more, such as karaoke nights, movie nights, talent/fashion shows, walking tours and more.
There are two full-day excursions per week which can include places such as Oxford and London.
Accommodation: Students can opt for residential accommodation on-site within Wycliffe College, or in homestays with local families. The residential accommodation consists of single, triple or multi-bed rooms which are allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.
