Location: STAR Exeter School is located in the city centre of Exeter, southwest of England, along the Devon coast. The school has many shops, bars, restaurants and cafés on its doorstep, with local attractions such as the Devon Wildlife Trust, The Exeter Cathedral and The Royal Albert Memorial Museum and Art Gallery, all just a short walk away. The surrounding local area has a multitude of activities and excursions for its visitors such as Stonehenge, Oxford and Bristol as well as the National parks and beautiful beaches of the coast.
School facilities: STAR Exeter has some great facilities to offer students including full kitchen and microwave usage, a library, lounge, free after-class access to learning software, free Wi-FI, a games room and a Student support desk for any questions, queries or concerns. All classrooms have an optimal amount of natural light, supplying students with a comfortable and warm learning atmosphere.

Insider tip: “I had the same book in the class I had in my own country, but I had to buy it when I had been booking my English course. I think the option 'you have to buy a book if you stay more than 3 weeks' is excess, especially if you stay one mounth only.”

Visa Documents
Nationals from Singapore do not require a visa to study short term courses up to 180 days. A valid passport and an ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization) is required to enter the UK. The application for the ETA is done online https://www.gov.uk/guidance/apply-for-an-electronic-travel-authorisation-eta. The answer is expected within 3 working days, costing GBP 16. The ETA allows multiple entries in the country for up to 6 months for a maximum of 2 years or until the passport used when applying expires.

Nationals from countries that require a visa will receive documents from the school, related to booking confirmation, which is required for the visa application.
