Spanishlow is a family-run school that offers an intimate and rural experience of learning Spanish whilst creating community.

Location: Spanishslow Valjunquera is a Spanish language school located in the picturesque Spanish town of Valljunquera, in the region of Matarraña, Spain. Often referred to as the "Toscana Aragonesa", these rural and natural surroundings create a friendly and unique atmosphere for learning, one which may be quite different from learning in a city centre, for example.
Course selection: Spanishlow provides immersive language and cultural experiences available to students of all levels. In addition to one and a half hours of Spanish lessons daily during the week, these programmes include activities, such as collecting vegetables from the school's "huerto", taking part in yoga classes in nature, doing walks, cooking classes, and much more.
Accommodation: Students are housed in the Miablanc apartments of matarraña, in single or twin-room apartments.
Social and cultural: The school uses a "hands-on" approach to cultural immersion. As a small town of around 350 inhabitants, Spanishslow not only provides top-quality Spanish language tuition but also ensures a deeply immersive experience into the local community and way of life. These programmes are full of cultural experiences. Such experiences can include tasting local cuisines, learning to make thatched goods, local agriculture, horseback riding and much more.

Special note for 2027 holiday season: If you plan to take a course during the high season months of April, June, July or August 2027 we urgently advise you to book as early as possible. In 2026 many schools were fully booked during the holidays and the situation is unlikely to be different for 2027 due to a current shortage of teachers, which affects most schools.
