The Central Northern region of Australia is called the Northern Territory. Whilst there are no major cities in the province, it is home to important landscapes in the Aboriginal culture. Ayers Rock, Kata Tjuta and the Kings Canyon are some of these cultural landmarks. These are in the South of the region near the isolated town of Alice Springs, an excellent location to explore the Red Centre of the country. Darwin is the capital of the province and is located right at the northern tip. It holds the busiest International Airport in the region and is the perfect place to visit the Kakadu National Park.
