Immerse yourself in Finnish while studying with your teacher at their home in Helsinki. Your schedule will consist of 20 one-to-one classes every week for the duration of your stay, and you will be able to study the specific topics and grammar structures that you want by communicating your needs with your teacher.

Helsinki is a city best known for its safe streets and friendly locals, white granite architecture, and vibrant live music scene. The Kallio district might be the best place to start exploring what Helsinki has to offer, as you’ll find an endless variety of trendy cafés and eateries, as well as nightlife options for those inclined. In any case, your host family will be happy to show you around the city and acquaint you with all the most important and iconic areas. The school has a Local Organiser situated within Helsinki, so you will easily be able to communicate with them in order to resolve any small issues that you encounter.

Study & Live in your Teacher's Home offers you the opportunity to participate in their home tuition programme, which is where the student lives with their language teacher for a period of time in the teacher’s home - in this case in the Finnish city of Turku.

Your Finnish teacher will give you 20 hours of lessons that cover all the material and grammar that motivates you personally, since these are your private classes. Additionally, the host family will also provide you with your daily meals.

After you arrive, your host family will take the time to give you a tour of Turku. You will find that there’s not a lot of tourist presence. This is ideal for those who prefer to live far from the noise of the city, and who enjoy a lifestyle of nature walks, going to the beach, and a diverse variety of other outdoor activities. If you’re looking for something specific, your hosts will help you find it.

You will be able to contact the school’s Local Organiser agent in Turku, who is on hand to resolve any issues you might have with your course and accommodation.
