It was great that there were no computers in class, so all the students were more present and we learned together. The teachers were very pleasant and responsive to us. We were able to contribute to the lessons through our questions/interests. The secretary's office was also interested in our questions.
Everything went well.

The teachers in the morning and afternoon were very committed, competent and helpful!
It's sad that there always has to be a minimum number of afternoon activities and the registration isn't really clear. This means that activities that would be interesting are repeatedly canceled.

I liked the small classes which allows for individual attention.
The teachers are excellent, patient, knowledgeable and energetic. They also are the best sources for local tips and to see Italian mannerisms (ie hand gestures) in action.

Very good teaching. Pedagogical, enthusiastic and inspiring. Fast pace but it gave me a lot of confidence. The staff was friendly, gave good service and cared about the students.
I can highly recommend this school. The classrooms were normal school standard. The social activities are in Italian and as a beginner it was difficult to understand them the first few weeks. The activities themselves are good.

- Very good teaching material, also for repeating the lessons later. - Good support also in extracurricular matters if you still have language problems.
With previous knowledge of the language, you can better benefit from the courses.

Scuola Leonardo da Vinci

The quality of the courses, the friendliness, the mix of nationalities and also the fact that it is ideally located.
Do not make meetings with students around a very long table. We can not talk so it's a shame ... Please round tables of 6 or 8 Max it would be so much better and it creates bounding otherwise we can be bored in a very noisy environment ...

I could learn the grammars with a right speed. It was good that I had enough homework. As the afternoon activities were one-to-one style, my teacher explained me in English sometimes and I could know about the culture and the art in Florence. I'm 60 years old and one of my classmates was 80 years old. The school had a friendly environment and even an older person like me could feel comfortable to join the course. However, some of my classmates felt stressed to learn grammars. I had a good time with the excursions to Lucca and museums. I won't forget the delicious Italian dishes that we prepared and cooked at the school director's house.
Morning course consisted of grammar section and conversation section for 1.5 hour each. I couldn't speak well during the conversation session. I was suggested by the school before starting the second week that it would be better to change to private lessons, however I kept taking the group course. If you prefer to study seriously, I recommend you to take private lessons.

We were especially impressed by Giulia's dedication and professionalism. She was a delight. This is not to take away from Francesco's contribution, of course, he too is an excellent teacher; but I guess I am biased by Giulia's beauty and grace:) -John
