In the summer, classes were small and we could talk a lot. The emphasis of the course was on communication and not grammar instruction.
The teachers did not over correct everything you said.

This was the best choice I could have made when looking into immersion programmes. The teachers are exceptional. They tailor lessons to the students individual needs while making learning fun and accessible. I’m shocked at how much I learned in 2 weeks. Definitely supplement with a few private lessons to get a deeper dive.
Everyone on staff goes above and beyond and communication is clear and prompt. The food is vegetarian and a terrific way to nourish your brain after working hard! I cannot wait to return.
Thank you for a mountaintop experience. The love the teachers have for teaching is extraordinary.

Lovely school with a beautiful garden and close to the main plaza. Amazing vegetarian lunch everyday! They had free water, coffee, repelent etc.

I loved the 1-on-1 teaching with Martha, as the classes were targeted just for me and my learning level. I had a great mix of speaking, written and hearing practice and Martha is a very fun teacher.
I was lucky enough to have Martha as my teacher for 4 weeks at Spanish Center Merida.
These classes were a fantastic experience and a wonderful investment in my learning.
Martha is a fun and encouraging teacher, providing lots of speaking practice, as well as practice in writing and listening.
I had so much support from Martha and Thelma, who helped me to navigate my way to and from the classes, and made me feel very welcome.
I cherish my time at Spanish Center Merida and highly recommend them to anyone who wants to accelerate their Spanish schools with these excellent teachers.
