How our students rated their experience in Montevideo
What our students said about Montevideo
A really lovely city. Very easy to live in, safe, small enough that you can walk almost everywhere- but if you don't want to walk, the public bus system is great. Beautiful architecture, friendly people, and although plenty of people speak English, nobody leads with it, making it the perfect environment for an immersive Spanish speaking and learning experience.
It is worth getting to know the city and the people of Montevideo, who are generally friendly and discreet. The point of attention is the very high cost of living compared to other countries in South America.
Brazil
Interesting but expensive, I think the city is a bit dirty.
Brazil

I liked the service, the teaching method, the breaks with snacks, the cleaning, everything was very pleasant, a wonderful school
A completely reliable and serious academy that is worried about the students.

Highly qualified teachers. Helpful and attentive coordinator.
I suggest that there be a brief welcome meeting every Monday for incoming students. In this conversation, it would be interesting to talk about the school and its extracurricular activities, as well as give an overview of Montevideo, clarifying possible doubts. I think it would be very useful, especially for those who will stay longer in the city.

Friendly professional staff.
I know it's an old building, so this is probably not possible, but there is a bathroom shortage...Everyone takes a break at the same time. Maybe the break time could be divided up into two?

Wonderful staff and teachers. A curriculum that is sufficiently challenging without being overwhelming. They are always willing to adjust to what is most important for each student.
Highly recommend!

Nothing. I arrived and Margo, the school’s manager, lied to me and tried to give me half of the lessons I paid for, just because I was the only beginner. I don't care if that would be one-on-one, I paid for 20 hours and I expect to get 20 hours! Horrible!

The teachers. Maribel and Veronika were great!
Everything is old, broken and dirty. There is mold in the kitchen. Pans are broken. There are so many animals in the kitchen that cooking is practically impossible. The accommodation is unfortunately not recommended.

The teachers, Maribel was great.
The accommodation at the school was disastrous. It was dirty, old and a lot of things were broken. There were cockroaches in the kitchen & most of the kitchen utensils such as pans were broken. It was a great effort to cook & stay here. An imposition for the money.

The teaching, the patience and the friendliness of the people at school.
The school was great, unfortunately the "hostess", even if she was nice, looked more at the money and served reheated frozen food . Therefore, it was a mistake for me to book "Homestay".

My goal of improving existing errors was supported (achieving the highest possible level was not the main focus)
It is a pity that there are no first-class media material. The speakers don't work most of the time (and acoustic exercise is also important ... not every host family has a working TV)
