Location: EF International Language Center Seoul is located in the giant metropolis, the capital city of South Korea, Seoul. Housed within the K-Tower of the city's Gangnam district, Seoul's trendiest neighbourhood, the school is equipped with the latest technology, is surrounded by shops, cafés and restaurants, and is within a moment's walk of the Sinsa Subway Station. With such an excellent location, many of the city's main attractions, such as the Gyeongbokgung Palace, the Myeong-dong, Bukchon Hanok Village, Namdaemun Market and much more, are all within a 35-minute journey of the school's front doors. Students of EF Seoul have everything they may need to have a memorable and safe time in Seoul whilst reaching their language goals. The Incheon International Airport is just a 90-minute trip from the school via public transport, ensuring all arrivals and departures can be made easily.
School facilities: The school's facilities are modern and accommodating, catering to the needs of all General, Business and Privately taught programmes. Internship programmes in industry-specific, unpaid, part-time positions are also readily available throughout the year. The facilities of the school include a cafeteria, lounge area, computer lab and a Student Support Desk for any questions or queries that arise. EF offers prospective students the chance to study Korean at their school located in the lively city of Seoul. This particular course option is their most popular choice, the Intensive course, and this is because it offers the highest number of study hours among all of EF’s programmes.
The classes total up to 32 per week, which are all carefully planned by their experienced and highly qualified teachers. There is a curriculum that the school follows, but you will also have the opportunity in class to take part in activities such as group discussions and debates, as well as creating research projects.
You will also have ample opportunities for practising your spoken Korean, as you will spend considerable time conversing with your peers, but you will also have time to go out with your new friends to explore the surrounding Gangnam district, where you can put your Korean to the test in real-life situations.
The Sinsa Subway station is less than a two-minute walk away from the school, so getting to and from your classes every day will be no problem.

Quality of teaching / language progress: It was sometimes complicated to study online because there was need to manage many applications running simultanuously. So, the materials for online lessons could be organized in an easier way.

- Generally, course material has to be purchased by all students at the school. The costs of course material will be approximately €70 per course level.

The cost of course materials vary depending on the duration of the course:
- 1-9 weeks: EUR 70
- 10-18 weeks: EUR 125
- 19-24 weeks: EUR 165
- 25-30 weeks: EUR 205
- 31-36 weeks: EUR 245
Cancellation Protection fee: EUR 85 (Non-refundable).
Students must book travel insurance, which covers the whole period of the course and stay in Seoul. Students can book Erika Insurance Coverage via the school: - Two weeks: EUR 85.
- Per additional extra week: EUR 40.
Students can have another insurance but they must prove they have booked another one.
Accommodation: - The twin room homestay included in the tuition price can be upgraded to a single room homestay for EUR 55 per week.
- Homestays are no further than 45 minutes by public transportation from school.
- Residence accommodation is also available upon request and subject to availability.
Special dietary requirements will cost EUR 50 per week.
Students studying for 9 to 11 months will have to pay an additional local health insurance fee starting from their 7th month until departure. The cost is approximately USD 96 per month.
Classes are likely to take place on some days in the morning and other days in the afternoon. Students will be given the exact timetable closer to the start date. These are sample times and lessons will fall within the time frames stated depending on availability and time of year.

- Single individual lessons of tuition can be reserved at 120 €. The combination of group and individual lessons is highly recommended. Individual lessons will encourage you to actively speak the foreign language and will offer you the opportunity to discuss individual problems and weaknesses.

May I know where my homestay accommodation is located? Could you also give me the schedule for the Basic course with 20 lessons per week?
“Accommodation will be allocated 2-3 weeks before arrival. Host families live in various parts of the city. It may take up to 40 minutes - 1 hour to get to the school from the accommodation. The Basic Course includes 20 lessons per week. Lessons are scheduled from Monday to Friday. It has an alternating schedule; some days the lessons are scheduled in the mornings, other days they will be in the afternoons. The exact schedule will be given to students on the first day.
