“There were people there from all over the world and I was the only German, so I was able to practise my English well and I learned a lot about other countries. The age group was very mixed. Liverpool is also well worth seeing. It was my first language course and I will do another one.”
“You have to be prepared to join the afternoon course first because it is in high demand in the morning.”
Details of the review
Quality of teaching / language progress: It is general English that can be used in everyday life. Other courses are more suitable for job-specific language.

“The position and the ability of the teacher to challenge Dennis with some more homework.”
“My children with different English levels were put on the same course. I had clearly told you languagecoruse.net that I didn't want this to happen. It happend, I asked the school director to move my son (15 yo) to a higher level course but he said that they had only two junior courses (beginners and advanced). My second child is 12yo and definitely with an English level lower than my first child. The teacher gave my first son some homework to boost his learning (the school director said she would do it) but he somehow had his two week classes with students with lower abilities, hence he didn't practise as much as he could have, had he been put into a class with students with a B2. Moreover, he did 2 online tests before going to the school and the morning we arrived (for which we were told to arrive at 9.30A.M., so he lost 1,5 hrs of lessons) they were asked to do a third written and oral entry test (which we found it ok for the oral). School floor and areas looked not clean, I am afraid to say it.
The end-of-course certificate did not certify the course level attended.”
Details of the review
Quality of teaching / language progress: As said earlier the overall of the course was not to my satisfaction because of the issues I pointed out earlier.
