Location: EC English Cape Town is located in one of South Africa's 3 capital cities, Cape Town, a port city beneath Table Mountain, on South Africa's southwest coast. School facilities: The facilities within EC Cape Town are of a very high standard, offering everything a student may need to feel comfortable inside and outside of the classrooms. Classrooms are equipped with electronic whiteboards and many have great views of the adjacent Table Mountain. Course selection: Course selection includes tailor-made courses for students in Business, English for Work, Exam Preparation (FCE, CAE, CPE, IELTS), English in the City and English + 2-day safari, in addition to Academic Semester or year programmes. Many programmes are available to students of all levels, ensuring there is something for all. English & Volunteering programmes are also available throughout the year.
Accommodation: Accommodation is readily available through the school in Homestay and Residence facilities, enabling students to feel well looked after, to enjoy the city and its surrounding areas to their fullest.

You will learn about the art and culture and focus on how the locals use the language. Depending on the available timetable, students enrolled in this course will be taken outside the classroom 1 or 2 times per week. This residence features a restaurant for those who want it, and a shared kitchen for all those who prefer to prepare their own meals. You’ll find an abundance of places of interest located nearby, such as Table Mountain or V&A Waterfront.
There are single and shared rooms available. Every room as a minimum features a desk for studying, which is important for having a place to get your English studies done. The bed linens are provided, and the bathrooms are shared with other guests. As part of the fees you would already be paying, there is a cleaning service once every two weeks, which is mainly intended for leaving the shared kitchen in perfect condition again. All guests are encouraged to keep communal areas as clean and tidy as possible.
Upon arrival, the house staff will show you to your room, hand over keys, explain the house rules and show you how to get to school.
