Venue: English Outdoors’ venue is the City of New York, more precisely the public spaces of the City of New York. The concept of English Outdoors, or EO, mixes English language learning with tourism in a seamless way, omitting the traditional classroom altogether. For EO’s purposes, the outdoors isn’t limited to New York’s parks and other outdoor locations, it can be anywhere in Manhattan or Brooklyn: markets, museums, shops, cafés; a mix of iconic locations and places only a local would know.

Experience: English Outdoors provides its students with the opportunity to improve their fluency in English while they discover places and soak up the culture that makes NYC so singular. Their immersive experiences combine daily morning classes with theme-based excursions, where classes continue and transform into group excursions. The focus with English Outdoors is on communication, listening and speaking, in real-life situations. Students can join one of the small groups, have private sessions or a combination of both.

Teens and Young Adults: In addition to the almost year-round adult programmes, during the summer months, EO offers Summer Camp Packages for both Teens and Young Adults. All programmes follow the same concept, but the summer packages are all-inclusive with more excursions.
