Location: Oxford Spires Junior Centre - St Edwards School is a junior summer immersive experience language and activity school located in the abundant English city of Oxford. Housed within St Edward's School, a notable educational institute with over 160 years of history, junior students gain a traditional boarding school campus and setting, with a fantastic range of modern facilities, excursions, and activities. The school is under a two-and-a-half-hour journey via public transport from London Heathrow and London Gatwick airports.
Course selection: These summer courses are fully immersive, including language tuition, activities, excursions and accommodation (residential, full board).
Afternoon and evening activities can include walking tours around Oxford, Tennis team games, visiting Oxford University College, treasure hunts, karaoke, discos, movie nights and much more.
All meals are served in the school dining hall.
Social and cultural: These programmes are filled with afternoon and evening activities in addition to full-day excursions on the weekend, giving students ample opportunity to practise their English and get to know their international peers accordingly.
Accommodation: Accommodation is in residential boarding school facilities. Single, double, triple and quad rooms are available on a first-come-first-served basis. All rooms come with shared bathroom facilities.
School facilities: The school facilities are exemplary of an English boarding school and have extensive sports facilities such as an indoor swimming pool, a cricket pitch, an athletic pitch and a sports hall.
