Location: Camino Spanish School has a central location in Barcelona, right inbetween Plaza Espana and Plaza Catalunya, both central points within the city.

Getting around: There is a well connected metro stop around the corner, with most must see attractions around a 30 minute metro ride from this station. The surrounding area has all that you could need for your stay including plenty of bars, restaurants, shops and plazas for you to soak up the mediterranean sun whilst learning Spanish.

School facilities: The school has a number of air-conditioned classrooms for your comfort, an internet cafe, large patios, student relaxation areas and a wonderful rooftop terrace.

Extracurricular activities: Camino Spanish School is not just concerned about you learning Spanish in your lessons, but also about your whole experience in Barcelona. An afternoon club runs from Monday through until Friday with a member of staff available for any questions you may have. During this time, you have access to all the school facilities and you can play Spanish games or watch Spanish films with your peers. There are a number of after lesson activities running everyday of the week, which will help you explore the city as well as practise the Spanish you have learnt in the morning.

Almost all young people. I learned and understood a lot in this one week. Unfortunately, I couldn't extend my stay for personal reasons, but I will certainly come back, and then for more than a week”

I would just like to add one small comment: the afternoon tours were interesting, but they were conducted by teachers speaking fast and fluent Spanish, so most of the participants could hardly understand anything. It would be nice if the language used on the tours was a little slower and simpler, as most of the participants are just learning the language.”

My wishes were always taken into account and I was always treated in a very friendly manner. I really appreciated the fact that none of the teachers spoke German, which was always a real challenge.
