Location: Converse International School of Languages (CISL) Junior Centre San Francisco is located in the famous and vibrant city of San Francisco, USA. Housed within the University of California, UC Berkeley (UCB) campus, international teens can study English whilst getting involved in activities in and around the San Francisco Bay Area.
Course selection: Programmes are available to teen students aged 13-17 years for 2, 3 or 4 weeks. The "UC Berkeley Campus Programme" includes on-site residential accommodation, all meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner), a varied programme of activities and at least one excursion per week. Excursions and half-day activities typically include trips to Santa Cruz Beach and Boardwalk, Lucasfilm & Walk Disney Museum, a UC Berkely Tour, and much more!
Accommodation: The accommodation is residential, in the dorms of UC Berkeley. Rooms and bathrooms are shared.
School chain: Converse International School of Languages (CISL) has supplied English language programmes for over 50 years. They currently have numerous Junior Camp locations throughout America, a Summer school in Chicago and a school for adult students in San Diego.
CISL is accredited by the CEA (Commission on English Language Program Accreditation), which, in turn, is recognised by the U.S. Secretary of Education as an accrediting agency for English language schools and programmes throughout the U.S.
CISL is also a member of English USA.
