Location: International Center for Language Studies Washington is an English language institute located in the capital city of the United States of America, Washington DC. The school is housed in the downtown area, literally a 750m walk from The White House. Such a unique location has many perks, including multiple sites of social and cultural value within walking distance, in addition to amenities, shopping malls, eateries and supermarkets. Such places of interest within walking distance of the school include the White House, the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History, The National Museum of Women in the Arts, the Washington Monument, the National Museum of African American History and Culture, the Lincoln Memorial and many more.
Course selection: The school supplies General English courses suitable to students of all levels and several courses for specific learning. Specific learning programmes include several Business English programmes that concentrate on predetermined aspects of business such as Pronunciation for Global Professionals or Meetings, Negotiations and Correspondence. Private tuition is also available via High-Intensity Language Training and packs of private or semi-private tuition.
Getting around: The school's central location ensures many amenities and attractions nearby. There are also several bus routes and the McPherson Square Metrorail Station is only a 400m walk from the school's front doors. Dulles International Airport is around a 40-minute taxi ride or 70-minute journey from the school via public transport.
