ACCET (The Accrediting Council for Continuing Education & Training)

An organisation must fit with the following list of specifications to be eligible for ACCET accreditation:

- be following the state licensing obligations;

- provide evidence that, for a two year period prior to the application, the institute has been running educational programmes and/or training programmes to a high standard, has not changed ownership, has been financially responsible and offers continuous units of post-secondary certificates, diplomas or degrees;

- for one year up to the application process, the organisation must not have been discredited or withdrawn from another accrediting agency.
