What we dislike about the school
- Lessons are 45 minutes long, which is shorter than in other schools.
Location: Kaplan International Languages New York is located in the cosmopolitan and unique metropolis of New York City, East Coast, USA. The school is housed in Central Manhattan and is within a short walk of the famous Central Park. There are shops, cafés and restaurants close by, with attractions such as the Rockefeller Center, Times Square, the MOMA and the American Museum of Natural History, all just a short walk away. With easy access to public transport networks, students can travel around the city and beyond freely. JFK International Airport is within a 60-minute journey of the school via public transport.
School facilities: The school facilities are excellent, offering state-of-the-art learning technology from classrooms designed to optimise learning experiences. These facilities include a computer lab, a student lounge area and free WIFI. All classrooms are equipped with heating and air conditioning, with most classrooms having a great natural light source.

“The school is in a very good location, with many things within walking distance. There were about 15 of us in the class, which was good for exchange and communication. Everyone was able to get involved in the lessons. In general, I also liked the way the lessons were organized, as it was a mixture of provided exercise sheets, videos and open communication.”
“The school put together a calendar for the whole month where you could take part in events. Some of the prices were quite high, as some things were much cheaper if you booked them yourself and not through Kaplan (e.g. Broadway shows, Yankee game).”
