Venue: Live Language is located on a high street, right in the heart of the vibrant Scottish city of Glasgow. Live Language English School is perfectly positioned in the city centre, surrounded by shops and restaurants, and only 2 blocks from Glasgow Central train station. The nearest subway station is St. Enoch, a 2-minute walk away. The River Clyde is only a 5 minute walk from the school and students can arrive at most of the major attractions in the city within 20 minutes.

Course selection: The variety of courses supplied by Live Language English School is substantial, ranging from General English (suitable for all levels) and Exam Preparation (IELTS, FCE CAE) to Academic Preparation courses for University. Live Language is also an exam centre for the Cambridge Exams.

Additional information: Live Language English School in Glasgow strives to make students feel at home whilst studying on their student-centred programmes. Courses are available from a very beginner level through to university preparation and university entry courses, ensuring there is something available for everyone. With both professional and friendly staff, students are welcomed and supported throughout their studies.

Getting there: Glasgow is serviced by two airports: Glasgow International Airport (GLA) and Glasgow Prestwick Airport (PIK). The closest to the city centre, and the school, is Glasgow Airport which has an Airport Express service which takes you straight to the area where Live Language is located in 25 minutes. The Edinburgh Airport (EDI) is also only just over an hour away and there is a direct bus line from the airport to Glasgow’s Buchanan Bus Station which is a 10 minute walk from the school.

Each week, there was a test. So, you could see quickly the progress you had made. Most of the exercises were carried out in groups, so we used the language all the time. Individual classes
Single individual lessons of tuition can be reserved at 45 £. The combination of group and individual lessons is highly recommended. Individual lessons will encourage you to actively speak the foreign language and will offer you the opportunity to discuss individual problems and weaknesses.

"Very clean student room, great lobby, but without towels, toilet paper and waste garbage can in the room, no cleaning during the stay, room doors only close with a loud bang, which is particularly annoying at night.

Visa Documents

Nationals from Poland do not require a visa to study short term courses up to 180 days. A valid passport and an ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization) is required to enter the UK. The application for the ETA is done online https://www.gov.uk/guidance/apply-for-an-electronic-travel-authorisation-eta. The answer is expected within 3 working days, costing GBP 16. The ETA allows multiple entries in the country for up to 6 months for a maximum of 2 years or until the passport used when applying expires.
