How our students rated their experience in Glasgow
What our students said about Glasgow
Unfortunately I have lived part of the experience in Lockdown due to the coronavirus emergency. The city is still excellent. It has all the features, services and nightlife of a large metropolis, is definitely safe, well connected to the rest of Scotland and the nation (excursions to Scotland's tourist destinations are not to be missed and, moreover, the center is on a human scale. You can go walking everywhere, I have used very little public transport but they seemed quite efficient. The city is very characteristic (and in my opinion really beautiful), everything recalls Scottish culture and history. only negative note the food in supermarkets, expensive prices and generally poor quality.
Italy
The weather was awful. During my last days, it became sunny.

Glasgow has the nickname ‘The Friendly City’ and is loved for its culture, museums, music, nightlife and shopping, but most of all for its people. If you travel for 45 minutes east you reach Edinburgh, if you travel 45 minutes west, you reach The Highlands. Glasgow is easy to get around by foot, bus, train or subway.

The friendliness of the teachers and the way of their teaching the language to people of different nationalities and without the use of a translator. This allows a total immersion in the language.
The school is very well organized, with courses on all levels. You can also visit Scotland's main places of interest thanks to the weekends' organized trips.

Quality of the teaching. The teacher was excellent. The classes were always very well planned and organised. After each exercise, it was made clear what was trained and what the point was. Each week, there was a test. So, you could see quickly the progress you had made. Most of the exercises were carried out in groups, so we used the language all the time. The exercises were not unilateral, just the opposite, they were always varying. You never knew what would come next, it was never boring.
