  • Free assistance in finding flats for long-term students.
  • Learning progress guarantee.

Celas Maya is a Spanish language school with more than 25 years of experience, located in the heart of Quetzaltenango (Xela), Guatemala’s second-largest city.

The school is situated on a charming colonial-style campus, providing students with a comfortable and welcoming learning environment. It specialises in academically structured Spanish immersion programs with one-to-one instruction, enabling students to progress efficiently according to their individual goals.

What distinguishes Celas Maya is its combination of high academic standards and deep cultural immersion. Students have the opportunity to live with local host families, participate in cultural activities, and experience authentic daily life in Guatemala.

Quetzaltenango offers a safe, non-touristic setting that is ideal for serious language learning, with fewer English speakers and a strong local culture. This creates an excellent environment for students seeking meaningful progress and a truly immersive experience.

The evaluations by students after they complete a course is excellent. The discount for using your website is also a great incentive. It also would be wonderful if the website would include more cities and a bigger selection of schools in each city.
Basil Havens verified client
