Location: ILA - Institute Linguistic Adenet is found in the heart of Montpellier, in the neighbourhood known as L'Écusson. The main attractions in this area such as the Arc de Triomphe and the Esplanade Charles-de-Gaulle are both within walking distance of the school. There are a number of bars, restaurants, cafes and shops in the streets around the school.
Travelling around: The central train station in Montpellier, Montpellier Saint-Roch, is a 7-minute walk from ILA - Institute Linguistic Adenet. There is an extensive light rail service that runs through the city. The school is equal distance from the Comédie and Observatoire stations, a 3-minute walk to both.
Social and cultural: The city is easy to navigate on foot. The Jardin des plantes de Montpellier and the Montpellier Cathedral are a 15-walk from ILA - Institute Linguistic Adenet. Centre Commercial Le Polygone is the city's shopping centre, just 10 minutes on foot from the school.
Course selection: The school has a selection of different general French lessons, with varying weekly durations. For those wanting to enter a French University, there is a University Preparation Course. It is possible to add an extra course to a standard French programme. The options for this combination course include cooking classes, business French lessons or a teacher training course. In the school holiday months, the school opens its facilities to teen packages.

"The host family has three young children, very lively, energetic, busy with their school and play at home, and quite sweet as they welcomed me and spoke with me each day, and especially at dinner. The host parents were super. Kind, patient, interested, very helpful, wonderful to me. The central living space. Breakfast was yogurt, fruit, oatmeal, brioche which I prepared myself. Dinners were delicious, bountiful vegetarian meals including "Crepe Tuesday" "Vegan Wednesday" and "Homemade Pizza" on Saturday. One bathroom required a schedule, which worked well. My room was on 3rd floor, bed very comfortable and warm; very narrow/steep stairs were manageable, but might be a problem for a 50+ person less fit/larger/less agile than required to navigate them.
